Wild Ways Acres of Hope Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in McDowell County, North Carolina. We acquire land parcels of 10 or more acres through donations, affordable leases, and gifted property to build off-grid regenerative agriculture communities for people experiencing homelessness.

Our promise: Every resident gets transitional housing, the training to grow their own food and raise animals, and the opportunity to build equity through their own labor. This isn't charity—it's a launchpad.

Based in Marion, in the heart of Western NC's Blue Ridge Mountains, we believe the land itself is the answer. Rich soil, clean water, and a community that looks out for each other.

We accept land donations, negotiate affordable leases, and pursue gifted parcels of 10+ acres in McDowell County and surrounding Western NC. Landowners receive full tax benefits of donating to a 501(c)(3).

Build Transitional Housing

Off-grid cabins and shared facilities go up fast. Residents move in and begin learning regenerative agriculture—growing food, raising animals, and managing land sustainably with hands-on mentorship.

Residents choose their own cash crops and livestock. They build their own permanent homes, sell their harvest, and contribute 40% of income back to the organization—funding the next community.
